I specialize in working with those who feel overwhelmed by the changing world around them, perfectionists, overthinkers, the "not good enough," and those who tend to shut down or look for quick comfort when facing stress. I help find grounding, self-compassion, and healing.

Insurance

We are unable to accept insurance at this time. We provide self-pay, a fixed rate determined for a specific service. Insurance companies may require a diagnosis to file a claim for the visit, and this information may become part of your medical record. By paying a self-pay rate, no diagnosis is submitted to insurance or accessible by other medical providers without a signed release. Additionally, self-pay may allow for additional flexibility that would be otherwise restricted by filing with insurance.

  • We understand that economic disadvantages may limit some from seeking therapy. Please reach out to discuss options for reduced fees that may be available.

Out-of-Network Reimbursements

Upon request, depending on your specific plan, you may be able to file a claim for reimbursement with your insurance company using a “superbill” provided by our office. We recommend contacting your insurance company to determine whether this option is available to you before initiating services that may not be reimbursed.

Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 - effective January 2022), healthcare providers need to give clients or patients who do not have insurance or are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • This Good Faith Estimate (GFE) shows the costs of items and services you can reasonably expect for non-emergency items related to your healthcare needs.

  • The GFE does not include any unknown or unexpected costs that may arise during treatment. You may experience additional charges if complications or exceptional circumstances occur.

  • If you receive a bill of at least $400 more than your GFE, you may dispute or appeal the bill.

  • Make sure your healthcare provider gives you a GFE within the following timeframes:

    • If the service is scheduled at least three business days before the appointment date, no later than one business day after the date of scheduling; If the service is scheduled at least ten business days before the appointment date, no later than three business days after the date of schedule.

Note: A Good Faith Estimate is for your awareness only and does not require immediate financial commitment or payment. Please save a copy for your records.
